Not really. Even with broadband you can still get in games that will lag because of the people who still do have dial-up.

what game are you wanting to play online?

Here's this, It kinda depends where you are, and where the server is, and also, who is playing on the server.

<_< but still, 1 mb broadband is still isnt a Whole lot (it is compared to dial-up), But, you should notice a Lot Less Lagg.

Your gameing expericne should be Much better, but nothing is as good as cable or T1 (but who would wanna pay 2,000-ish a month for 3-7 gigs a second? Only schools would.)

Period.1MB Should get you pretty good speed in general.

    (I ment $2,000/usd)

Well, make sure you play on low ping server's and where there's anti cheat on.

You should get a good play

Loading times are based more off the amount of RAM you have. The faster Internet connection the lower your ping is going to be. The lower the ping the better. Although, you might get a high ping if the server is located pretty far from your house (like if you like in the UK then playing on a west coast United States server will probably give you a nice big ping, nothing too drastic though).

That is true. I can't believe I didn't think of that. For the best online play, you need to have a minimum of 1 Gig of RAM. 512 is ok, but I recommend trying your best to get at least a gig. A good video card is also nice.

a good video card is key for pc games these days, without one it doesn't matter how good your computer is, your video card will slow you down
