linkin park needs to disband? dont they have forums for bands that u do like cuz u should try em out.

lp does have some things to change but they dont need to "disband". IMO there biggest flaw is there length between records. charitys and concerts around the world are fun for a while but id rather listen to there albums for months at a time then see them in concert for an hour. Another thing, the lyrics need to be expanded like others said but no solos come on would that honestly sound good?

My Chemical Romance - Stop endorsing the teenies. Stop with the dress code or whatever you have going on. Gerard needs to shut the fuck up on stage and just sing because they're going the wrong way in their success. They're forgetting their fans that have been fans since Bullets and trying to please the newer crowd and it's not good.

Limp Bizkit - Go back to what you were doing, this new sound you have isn't working too well. The instruments? Awesome. The Vocals? Shit. The lyrics are great but you cannot match Rage no matter how fucking hard you try. It just will not happen. Try combining the Lyrics and instruments of The Truth with the Vocals of Chocolate Starfish and Significant Other.

The Used - Get back to the rawness you had on the first CD. In Love and Death was a little too polished.

Avenged Sevenfold- Some of the music, especially in the voice, is flat out annoying.

Linkin Park- Get to your next CD damn it! Follow The Moody Blues's example. They made an album per year, toured exclusively for each album, and still rocked.

3 Doors Down- Get away from tight ass structure, be creative, do more solos, do something different.

Linkin Park, God damn do you guys take long to come out with new albums!

Finch, What the hell happened to you guys? Your sound has changed so much and the new album sucks compared to WIITB.

If I would ever get to talk to those bands I would so never say that to them.

Children Of Bodom-Too many keyboard solos. Plus....HCDR is supposedly one of the best death metal albums of the century, so far....but it's fucking nine tracks long.

Does an album have to have 13+ tracks to be good?

Depeche Mode - I love these guys, but the remix album was unnecessary, and I think it detracted from the original versions of the songs.

The Offspring - You've gone pop-punk, don't bother denying it. Oh, to return to the days of Ixnay on the Hombre.

AFI - Davey, cut and wash your freaking hair. Take out a few of your piercings. Now go on tour, come to Minneapolis or Saint Paul, and let me hear you live.

Rob Thomas - You are not a teen heartthrob. Why did you even bother trying?

 omg... So true! What in the word is he trying to achieve?! He was soo much better with his band. What's with all these lead singers going solo? He's not a teen heartthrob but he sure is an old lady hearttrob.

My parents like his music. Well, I don't mean to sit hear and tell a long story but... My dad like loves his song he did with Santana (old song). He plays it all the time in the car... blasting it! One time he played it three times in a roll! I'm there thinking "God! I swear if he plays that song one more time I'm going to break that damned CD and throw it out the f***ing window!"

He wanted to try other musical things that he couldn't do with Matchbox 20. Basically, he wanted to explore different musical styles. Hence the sort-of Latin sound on Lonely No More and there are instruments that are native to places like Africa used on the CD...instead of it being a Rock CD, he wanted to use different styles. It's not about him being a teen heartthrob.

    I fucking love you.

Not everyone who goes solo and makes a pop record is trying to be a "teen heartthrob". This isn't the 70s.

You think they're bad, check out Nine Inch Nails.

Or to a further extent, the length between Jane's Addiction's new album Strays and their prior.

lol I never said he was 'trying to be a teen heartthrob'. I just thought what Kate (fairladykate) said was funny. I wasn't being serious.

"BuriedxTragedy", thanks for clearing me up on what Rob achieved on this new sounding solo album. I think it's cool that he was able to show people that he can sing other types of music. But, I really prefer him being a rocker. ;)

If by that you are referring to "Smooth", that is not old. Late '90s music is not old.

I meant it's not recent. I didn't want people to think I was talking about his new album.
