"Disconnected" and "Stand Up" are pretty good straight-forward, radio-friendly songs.

Maybe it's just me and my ever-changing musical tastes, but do these songs just scream "garbage" to anyone else? It's just so... bland.

They've been bland since point A. What letter they'll stop at is beyond me.

They're a one hit wonder as far as I'm concerned.

Whatever their first single was, I've since forgotten. It was played quite a bit and was pretty annoying after a while.

"Headstrong". That was the song. Sadly remembered it after thinking about it.

You dont like anything nu-metal (which despite the lack of rap is what Trapt kinda are). To me, this is miles ahead of their first album. I love the songs and I will be checking (*cough*downloading the leak*cough*) it out when it becomes availible.

Heh, I agree with that. lol "Headstrong" was like their only good song off their first album. The rest of the songs just... sucked.

Listening to the new songs I found two to be quite good, "Stand Up" and "Waiting". So this new album beat the old one already. ...Wait "HeadStong" was better than those two songs put together, so maybe the first album is better. :teehee:

Wont be able to tell unless I hear the rest of the songs (off the album)--wich I don't think that'll happen, being that I don't plan on buying this new album. :shifty:

"Headstrong" was about the only bad song on the last album, if you ask me.

I think it sounds good. Nothing amazing, nothing horrible... it's just good -- above average, I guess I should say. I think Trapt's got more diversity than any other nu-metal band and also have some great instrumental talent.

Don't let the media definitions of nu-metal fool you. You don't have to have rock and rap in your songs to be nu-metal.

And you're right, I don't like nu-metal. Because most of it is bland.
