Mr. Hahns Records

most people know that Joe uses custom records in the [LP] albums. rumor is, there are copies floating around. are these rumor's true, and if they are, can they be obtained?

 

There was one on Ebay a few days ago, but it wasn't one Joe actually used. For Projekt Revolution 2002 or 2003 (can't remember which year), Joe and the DJ from Cypress Hill would do mock DJ battles on stage sometimes. They had special records pressed for it that contained lots of Linkin Park and Cypress Hill beats, samples, and acapella snippets. A total of 250 were pressed, and the rest were given to record companies and other DJs. One recently showed up on Ebay. I tried to get it, but was outbid with 20 seconds left.

I was really surprised that it was on there all week and nobody bid on it. I bid $5 and thought I was good, signed on the day after it ended and found out someone bid $5.50 with 20 seconds left. That's just how Ebay goes sometimes.

I'd post a link to the ended auction but I already deleted it off my Watch List. Good luck finding one, according to the auction there were only 250 copies so unless the person that won it puts it up for sale, it'll be a longshot that another will show up.

well if there is only 250 in circulation i doubt one will pop up anytime soon.

i love some of the sample sounds that joe uses.

esp. from hybrid theory. with you and crawling have some killer sounds in them. i wish i could get hold of them
