The Dresden Dolls - punk cabaret, yo The Mars Volta - no description of mine could do justice. Refused - One of the few bands that manages to play hardcore without following the generic formula. edit: are we talking about the same Gorillaz here? I'm failing to see the "metal." And LP? Well whatever floats your boat, I guess
I like a lot of the bands you said, but unique? I hardly think most of those bands are unique. Just my opinion, though. Apex Theory Dredg VoKEE Gravity And Henry H Is Orange Revolve Ljungblut Videodrone Ontronik GF93 eENIK aNDY
HA! HA! HA! No. But I will agree, they are a unique sounding band. As are Mars Volta. That's all I can think of at the moment.
Placebo are a unique sounding band. Brian Molko's singing voice is unique. lol Video: Twenty Years Site: http://www.placeboworld.co.uk/
Chronic Future is interesting. Some of their songs are Rock/Hip-hop, but then others are alternative. Plus, the lead singer's voice is wicked.
Come on, they're at least more unique sounding than most other... 'nu-metal'... and not everyone here has gone off them yet. Anyway. Truly unique bands, huh. Dillinger Escape Plan Gorillaz Nine Inch Nails At The Drive-In Nightwish Refused Queen (seriously!) The Smiths Deftones
panic cell are pretty unique, they are very good here is their website with their music on www.paniccell.com
Primus The Chasm Crotchduster Mors Principium Est Opeth There's more, I just don't feel like going through my music collection right now.
One band I forgot to mention in the other thread was the Notwist.....purdy good stuff. Nobody else stands out in my head at this moment.....
The Mars Volta System of A Down Opeth Ulver (You know them, Rinkin!?Absolutely amazing band, I'm in the middle of downloading their new album) Pain of Salvation
