Hmm, bullshit IMO. We've talked to them several times. I really wouldn't be surprised if he did this as long as the US gave him something in return like we did last time (which is when he built the nuclear reactors).
Could he be telling the truth? No. I don't know how many times the general public is going to fall into his trap... he wants everyone to say 'Hey, he wants to be nucelar-free!', then when the nations don't side with him there's public outcry. Just like Saddam he's a man of intelligence -- he knows how to sway the opinion his way.
