Article One. Article Two. And for those who are lookng at this topic without a PSP, and may not like the black PSP, here's the new color that is coming out: White PSP All I can say is, good load this will do me now that I have wireless internet in my room. I can look at a 1600x1200 screen instead of PSP screen. Not to mention it has a calculator. Although, I can always go tot he new McDonalds and try it out there. Yeah, a McDonalds Cafe. With a hotspot.
I own a PSP and I believe the browser was the smart and obvious update. My Wipeout game will get a lot less play though. But I can't wait for the update. I love that white PSP. That "accessory pouch" that comes with would have been very useful to use. I bring the damn game cases with me everywhere. The pouch is perfect for those UMDs.
All the new features are awesome. I can now load purchased music from iTunes onto my memory sticks because they'll be able to read mp4 and aac audio files. As well as there being a browser. All I need is an access point!
Haha yeah, and having to hit the mute button because the Wipeout music is so repetitive. I do like the wallpaper function coming. I've been saying that they should do that, I'm so glad they are.
The only real thing I'm not to pleased with is the fact you have to use the built in keyboard. Hopefully I won't have to use PSP Video 9 to convert my videos aswell.
Supposedly they're already in the works for a USB keyboard attatchment. [/b][/quote] I heard about that. This is where a touch screen for the PSP would have been nice, like a palm pilot.
The white PSP and new PSP's after the launch of the update will release with the updates built on them. There won't be any need to update it.

Sorry about the double post but the update was released. If you don't have a WiFi connection you can download it straight onto your system. Download from the official PSP site. Update Instructions: Connect your PSP to your PC via USB cable. Go to the directory /PSP/GAME/ in your memory stick. Create a sub-directory named “UPDATE” (MUST be uppercase) Copy the downloaded EBOOT.PBP file into this directory (/PSP/GAME/UPDATE). Disconnect the PSP from the PC Go to “Game” -> “Memory Stick” on your PSP Browse to the Update file and load it.
