"7/7" What's this now? Three out of what? Please no more, we all give in, We've all seen, what you can do, And don't enjoy, these things within. So call it off... We give in... But it's not enough, to let you win, So call it off... So call it off. I know that it's hard, three down's bad, It's just like, which is next on the list? I guess we won't, ever give in, What did they do, to deserve this? So call it off... We give in... But it's not enough, to let you win, So call it off... We give in... But it's not enough, you cannot win, So call it off... So call it off. Stand down you, Don't know what, You have done, 'Cause your hearts are not beating, Stand down you, Don't know what, You have done, 'Cause your fucking hearts are missing. So call it off... We give in... But it's not enough, to let you win, So call it off... We give in... But it's not enough, you cannot win, So call it off... So call it off.
Thanks for the comments To try and make it less confusing I'll try to explain the meaning of most of it. The chorus is like, what some people will be thinking inside. That they want the attacks and pain to stop but the only way this looks achievable is by giving in to the terrorists. This is also shown in the first verse. The second verse is more of a positive message that we won't ever fall or give into the things terrorists want no matter how hard it may be to carry on. The bridge is basically saying that terrorists must have no feelings or emotions to be able to do such horrible attacks. Hope this clears some things up
It took me a lil bit to figure what 7/7 stood for. Then I just realized that yesterday was the 7th and what happend. The lyrics are really good and meaningful. I did understand it without reading your explination but you explaining it did clear things up a bit more. Good work on it. Fav part: So call it off... We give in... But it's not enough, to let you win, So call it off... So call it off.
