Wow, that's sort of decent of them to offer an apology, though it seems like a half-ass apology. It's better than nothing.
I spoke too late Amanda http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1505406/2...?headlines=true They are doing it.
Yeah, hmm. Too bad Live 8 has already passed, so the significance of 'commercial free' has diminished slightly (read: a lot).
And considering the entire concert(s) are on AOLMusic.com now.
And that practically every full performance can be found on BT networks... ... Not that I would like... know or anything. :chemist:
They should've aired it commerical free in the first place. It's common sense, which obviously MTV lacks.
Psht. I've known that for ages. Just look at their programming.
Because showing music on MTV is absolutely the craziest idea ever. MTV has no common sense at all whatsoever.

It's not enough, after a stunt like that (all of July 2nd) they shouldn't even be on the air. Cutting out artists MID-performance was just unprofessional. MTV either has to completely become about the music again, or they can get off the air.

Then tehy came back to them... AND CUT THEM OFF AGAIN! After that I was like "Screw this."
Uh, seriously, Chester was doing back-up vocals for Jay-Z. It's not his fault that Jay-Z's mic sucked.
Yea i heard about this too. Im probably gonna watch most of it again. Mainly Pink Floyds performance cause i didnt get to see the whole thing, and Linkin Park again.
Now if only MTV could apologize for the Andy Milonakis Show. But, MTV decided to show Live 8 from front to back after AOL hosted the whole show on there site, which is kinda lame.
