Wow, that's sort of decent of them to offer an apology, though it seems like a half-ass apology. It's better than nothing.

Hmm. Cool. At least they appologized. I really hope that they re-air it without commercials.

    Yeah, hmm.

Too bad Live 8 has already passed, so the significance of 'commercial free' has diminished slightly (read: a lot).

They should've aired it commerical free in the first place. It's common sense, which obviously MTV lacks.

Because showing music on MTV is absolutely the craziest idea ever.

MTV has no common sense at all whatsoever.

It's not enough, after a stunt like that (all of July 2nd) they shouldn't even be on the air. Cutting out artists MID-performance was just unprofessional.

MTV either has to completely become about the music again, or they can get off the air.

    They are doing it. [/b][/quote]
How much do you want to bet that MTV will screw this up, too?

Uh, seriously, Chester was doing back-up vocals for Jay-Z. It's not his fault that Jay-Z's mic sucked.

Now if only MTV could apologize for the Andy Milonakis Show. But, MTV decided to show Live 8 from front to back after AOL hosted the whole show on there site, which is kinda lame.
