we can never win

I can’t hear what you say
I feel so outshined today
Deep inside my own world
I prepare to play my role
Where am I, I don’t know
When I need you, you are gone
Oh my God would you stay
Just tonight show me the way

I believe in the fate
So I never contemplate
I will get what I deserve
Guess I am only here to serve
Who are you and who am I
Without masks we can’t survive
We will smile, we will frown
When the curtains fall down

Here I stand in the dark
Always wait for you to come
In the sun, in the snow
I will show you where to go
Come on in hold my hand
Night is cold, I’m warm within
Everybody makes mistakes
Love is everything it takes

Far above in the sky
Someone watches me tonight
Heaven has become my friend
I found the comfort in your hands
Who are we for evermore
We will never know for sure
So if you hurt show your pain
And rain will wash it all away

And even when the outside becomes so cold
We remain cause there is more to unfold
And even when the sadness settles in
We can try but we can never win
