What band was why Hybrid Theory got changed?

was it The Apex Theory? or another one?

I think there was a band named Hybrid Theory........ When LP saw them sometime they decided to change their name........Thats how I think it happened..........

No, but they asked Mike and the guys to change it so they wouldn't have to, and rather than argue and go to court, they just changed it. At first it was going to be Lincoln Park, but they changed the spelling of Lincoln to Linkin to get the domain name.
