What the hell? This isn't bloody 1930s Germany! Enabling Act pt. 2, I'd say. What is it, "re-write the constitution to your own desires week"? Follow the constitution, don't change it so you don't have to.
Well if you look at it, Cuba is a very beautiful country, thanks mostly to the lack of American involvement, but that doesn't mean anything. 22nd Amendment... hmm.\ EDIT: I originially quoted when you said Cuba, but whatever.

[/b][/quote] Yeah, sorry about that. I thought a Nazi Germany comparison would work better than a Communist country comparison.
Between this and the flag-burning amendment, I think I'm gonna burn a flag and make fun of Bush as much as possible while I still can.
I wouldn't panic too much just yet guys. They tried doing this same bill (secretely) under Clinton's presidency and it failed. I'm sure it'll fail again. If not? Whether he's a good prez or not, I'm moving to Europe.
All I have to say is: NO! FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY ON THIS GREEN AND VERDANT EARTH, NOOOOOOOOOOO! *clears throat* Now if you'll excuse me....
holy shit.. i was thinkin of the same thing weeks ago.. i was thinkin what would happen if bush became president for life.
if it passes: moveing away if it doesnt: *is happy* staying untill i feel like moveing away anyway. But why should we keep a president?
Widespread economic chaos. Invasion of numerous muslim-based countries because "God" told him to. Nuclear war within 20 years. Unity of church and state. Continued discrimination against homosexuals. Restriction of more individual freedoms. Desecration of the constitution. Outlawing of Abortion. Outlawing of stem cell research. Must I go on? Edit: If it involves maverik moving away to somewhere without internet access, Vote Bush!
Bush will not be president for life. That's impossible in a democracy in the U.S.A. today. People wouldn't support him forever or even another term at that. As for Arnold possibly being allowd to run for president, I wouldn't mind seeing him run. I'd honestly vote for him. Imagine if he went up against Hilary Clinton. That would be the largest voter turn-out ever. Arnold was qualified enough to run for governor and from what I understand he's doing a pretty good job but I wouldn't know. All news is propaganda and I don't live in California so I don't know the truth..
