Who are your top tandems of masters of six-string disaster? Great duos of slaybial destruction? Mine-Jeff/Kerry-Slayer Mark Morton/Will Adler-Lamb Of God. I wanna hear yours.
Current? My favorites of all time are Dave Mustaine and Marty Friedman of MegaDeth. Others: Marcus Sunesson/Marko Tervonen - The Crown Jeff Hanneman/Kerry King - Slayer Dan Spitz/Scott Ian - Anthrax Roope Latvala/Alex Laiho - Children of Bodom
The two guys from A7X, with their darkasphuck nicknames that I can't remember. Also, Wade and Dallas of Alexisonfire (that's probably my all time choice), and Roope and Alexi of CoB.
Wade Preston & Dallas Green - Alexisonfire Dan Jacobs & Travis Miguel - Atreyu (mainly on Suicide Notes) Synyster Gates & Zacky Vengeance - Avenged Sevenfold
Kirk Hammet and James Hetfield, back in the old days anyway. The Young brothers from AC/DC are a talented duo, it's a pity that most of the time Malcom's guitar is turned down so quiet you can't hear him. Obviously because AC/DC is more or less sold as the Angus Young and Brain Johnson show anymore. But in any case, great lead/rhythm combination. Jonathan Donais and Matt Bachand from Shadows Fall come to mind too.
My faves: Mikael Akerfeldt/Peter Lindgren (Opeth) Kirk Hammett/James Hetfield (Metallica)--->Pre-Black Album Daniel Gildenlow/Johan Hallgren (Pain of Salvation) Ben Weinman/Brian Benoit (The Dillinger Escape Plan)
Chad I. Ginsburg/Deron Miller - CKY (Live since they have a bassist on tour) Adam Dutkiewicz/Joel Stroetzel - Killswitch Engage Mark Morton/Will Adler - Lamb Of God (happy now Thanatos?)
Dan Jacobs // Travis Miguel - Atreyu Synyster Gates // Zacky Vengeance - Avenged Sevenfold Mathew Tuck // Michael Padget - Bullet for my valentine Head // Munky - Korn (even though Head left -_- ) Mick // Jim - Slipknot
Mike Shinoda/Brad Delson - Linkin Park <<<That one is just the most obvious Metallica is good for me.
Wade MacNeil They're just fucking with you on their website, as George's last name is Pettit, not Logan. I forgot to add Jack Owen and Pat O'Brien-Cannibal Corpse.
Do I detect a hint of sarcasm there? [/b][/quote] Yes, it was a joke. I thought I made it quite obvious.
