They are an excellent band. Rage was and still is my favorite band of all time, and I was very sad to see them part ways. But, Tom, Tim, and Brad have joined forces with a great singer in Chris. They have created their own unique sound. Out of Exile is an awesome album. It shows off all of the members talents very well. I wish they were more open with their activism. They all performed in various levels on the axis of justice tour last year (Tom as the Nightwatchman, Brad and Tim as the House Band, and Chris as a singer who performed with Maynard and with the House Band), and they recently played in Havana, Cuba.

well, some parts I find really boring, not fast enough. But for the most part, the music is pretty good.

I love them, even more so than Rage and Soundgarden. Out of Exile is an amazing album IMO. I love everysong on their to death and now they're playing their old stuff at their live shows now it can't get much better.

I like the sound of Audioslave's music. At times they do sound a little boring, but overall they rock. B) Out of Exile is awesome.

The first album was really nive, what i've heard from the new one isn't my cup of tea. You can't really compare "Be Yourself" to "Show Me How To Live", let alone the RATM and Audioslave material. Let's say i preferred these musicians when they were revolutionizing music ;)

your not meant to compare either albums or either bands. They are different bands with different sounds. I hate when people compare them to Rage.

They might sound polished on their records, but I'll be damned if they sound polished live. They were horrible on Jimmy Kimmel Live. And by they, I mean Chris Cornell. The guy just can't sing live.

Letterman? I don't recall a performance on his show recently but I'm not doubting that he sounded like shit. I'll take your word for it. But when he is healthy, he sings fine.
