Destiny's Child to break up

In a statement released to MTV News, the trio of Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams announced plans to disband after their world tour ends in the fall.

"We have been working together as Destiny's Child since we were 9, and touring together since we were 14. After a lot of discussion and some deep soul-searching, we realized that our current tour has given us the opportunity to leave Destiny's Child on a high note, united in our friendship and filled with an overwhelming gratitude for our music, our fans, and each other," the statement said.

The group was unavailable for comment Monday, but a representative said another statement would be released later in the day.

Aww, I have to admit, I always liked Destiny's Child..kinda. But if they think it's for the best, so be it.

 

I thought they already broke up before they released Destiny Fulfilled.

Make up their minds! I hope they don't break up. Some of their stuff is pretty damn good. They're older stuff is way better than the new stuff though although Lose Your Breath is pretty catchy

 

yeah, i liked that song but thier new one, Girl (or something like that) is pretty boring.

To answer other people's uncertainties, yes, DC did break up before, but came back together after all of their solo stuff was through (out of the three, Beyonce and Kelly Rowland had the best success).
