    i really like their new album a lot. i am sick of b.y.o.b. because it is incredibly overplayed. i love SOAD though. its really different and theres nothing out there like it. i think toxicity is their best album. i enjoy the other albums as well, just not all the tracks.

    hardcore pornography is such a funny song.
    soad songs are so random as in the lyrics are so random.
    they are one of the bands that have stayed true to metal.

    I think SOAD are extremely overrated.

    I like the fact that they have strong political views, but lyrically and somewhat musically, they really aren't that great.

    I do, however, like the song "Chop Suey!" off of their album "Toxicity".

    SOAD isn't the type of band that I'd like, but Toxicity and B.Y.O.B. are so fun to listen to. :lol:

    I personally love System of A Down, one of those bands that are hard to describe since they have such a unique sound!

    Their first (Self-titled) album is definately their best, with the best overall songs and the tightest/craziest songwriting, but Toxicity and Mesmerize are both extremely tight, with Toxicity edging the other one out by just a bit I think.

    Great band, just wish they wrote more complex music ;)

    Their first three album's were fucking amazing. As for mesmerise, it got extremely boring to listen to after only a very few times of listening to it.

    I think that System of a Down is a pretty decent band. They never really caught my interest until B.Y.O.B came out. And then I listened to their older songs even more and I liked them. They aren't overrated as some people say. I appreciate them for their political views.

    I still have yet to buy Mezmerize.

    I find them kind of weird. Some songs are nice, but they make me feel distorted inside with their music.

    SOAD are probably my favorite band. i had toxicity (the song) and chop suey and loved them, never thought of getting other songs though. then i heard BYOB, loved it, brought toxicity (the album) loved it, got mesmerize for my birthday, loved it :p also i have songs of System off a down and steal this album and they are amazing too

    Great band. The three instrumentalists are up there with the best in their respective fields, and Daron and Serj are two of the best rock vocalists since Scott Weiland and Mike Patton.

    Toxicity > self/titled > Mezmerize > Steal This Album!

    But that still doesn't say much about their quality. All four range from good to classic.

    Love 'em. I remember seeing their video "Sugar" on Headbangers Ball when their Self-Titled album came out and I've been following the band ever since. Their lyrics are much more to comprehend and their instruments are solid. I didn't really enjoy "Steal This Album!" but I'm a fan of all the others.

    They are a bit off the wall for me but i do enjoy B.Y.O.B and Violent Pornography off Mesmerize.

    System of a Down is one of my favourite bands. No one in my house likes them but I've gotten a few friends into them which is good :p . I don't like their self-titled very much.

    spiders, sugar,toxicity,chop suey, aerials, highway song, radio/video and so on but my favourite soad song has to be the metro from dracula 2000 ost. that songs kicks asses

    BYOB - i realey like the verses were there sayin "everybody goin to the party have a real good time"

    Question- theres this part that sound like evermore (thats not a good thing)
