Well, since im graduating from 9th this thursday, you know...Graduation=Money...i was planning on buying a PSP,so i have some questions:
Do you recomend me to buy one on Ebay,or in a store?
Is it really worth it to buy the PSP?
What features does it have(haven't read all its features)?

That's it,oh yeah and:Are there CD's(albums)that you can buy for the PSP or not?

You can't buy actual CDs, but there may be some UMD disc music. I know you can save music to memory sticks. Also, there are UMD movies.

Edit: For a warning if the battery life is as bad as rumoured, then I doubt using it to watch some movies would be wise. It may take less power to play movies though. I'm not sure, I don't have a PSP.

i recently got one and its been awsome. the graphics ar ps2 quality and the wireless play is pretty cool. the downsides are the long load times and the prices of the games and accessories. to really get what u want out of the psp u better be ready to spend and extra $50-100 on a big memory stick, cause if u only have the 32mb one, it will get old fast. but if u have the money and dont mind spending it, then its well worth the expence.

PSP owns. it is far better than any handheld nintendo has ever produced. the only thing holding back the PSP is the price.

The battery is pretty damn decent.

Oh, and to the thread starter:

Buy the PSP in the store, not off of E-Bay. Used ones tend to have finger prints and possible scratches on the screen and might be impossible to remove.

Buying the PSP fromm the store is to your advantage.

I'd recommend against it. For all you know, the seller could be selling you a defect, or there's a bunch of scratches on it already.

The graphics of the PSP are awesome. One thing I did hear though was that the screens on the Japanese PSP's are better than that of any other due to what it was made of. I heard they cut costs for the non-Jap screens not sure why though...

From what I have experienced, the PSP is not that good. The load time sucks, and well, none of the games really appeal to me. I mean, come on. A Metal Gear Solid CARD GAME!?!?!?!?! What is wrong with these people!

I got my PSP a month ago for the nice sum of just £10 curtosy of winning the OPS2 magazine ebay competition.

Its a good console but its kinda heavy, the graphics are fucking sick though. I highly recomend everyone go out and buy it.
