I own a PSP (one of the first to have one in the UK :p) and I gotta say its much much much better than the DS,The DS has alot of good games and the graphics are nice but the features of the PSP are fucking great and the graphics aren't far off from actual PS2 graphics.

    PSP it is.

Ive played my brother's DS, and its lame. The graphics arent much beter than gameboy advance and I dont know what genius at nintendo thought having to deal with 2 seperate screens is convienent and a pen is a great controller. Havent played a PSP myself, but I've seen enough screenshots to make me drool

I hate the DS. The double screen stuff is a terrible idea. I haven't tried the PSP yet, but I know it's better. :p

    DS.

They have a fuckin' dog simulator for crying out loud. Come on. You can take your Need For Speed Underground and shove it. I'll take my dog simulator, thank you.

...The fuck? How do you simulate a dog? Is it like one of those Tamagochoi Virtual Pet Keychain kind of things?

You're the owner, actually. You play with the dog, feed it, play with it, etc. I guess it's kinda like Tamagochoi, only better graphics.

It looked really neat at E3.

Ive played both. The DS is difficult to play if you dont have the coordination for it. The games are getting to be somewhat childish, but I do like how they revived some older games, like Super Mario 64 with Luigi, Wario and Yoshi as playable characters as well.

But I have to say PSP easily wins this battle. First off, its comfortable to hold. Also, it has mp3 player capabilities, movies, digital photos, along with its games. That alone makes me want it.

In fact, I have this system going. Im trading in all of my old games and dvds that I dont use anymore up at GameStop for store credit, so much so that I wont have to pay for a PSP. I have $140 in credit now, I just need more stuff to trade in.

9 people voted for the PSP and none voted for the DS.

I personally vote for the Playstation Portable. My brother has one but every now and then he lets me play on it. We only have two games, Lumines and Twisted Metal: Head On, but I find it to be excellent and more superior to the Nintendo: DS and the graphics beat the Gameboy series by far. Also, the fact that it can store pictures and music along with playing excellent games on it, puts the system on top of most game consoles right now. It's even topping the iPod. Has anyone noticed how ever since the Playstation Portable was released, iPod stepped it up by putting out two more commercials?

I have played the Nintento: DS and I have to say, it's not as bad as people say it is. But I have to agree with Mark, the idea of two-screens is not very good. And the concept of touching...I find it difficult for me. Lol. I would prefer to using buttons and playing the way Nintendo products were mean to be played.

The Sony Playstation Portable beats the Nintendo DS (Double Screen?) by far.

    PSP without a doubt

The DS is pretty crappy in my opinion. I saw it in Game a few months back. The double screen thing is nasty close up and the games on it are nasty as well. The PSP graphics also look alot nicer and sharper than the DS's. I know i'll be getting a PSP as soon as i can get my hands on one.

The three PSP games that I've played - NFS, Metal Gear Acid, and Ridgeracers - were all really, really bad. Warioware on DS, on the other hand, was really fun. I don't care about the PSP's other functions, I already have an iPod and watching movies or whatever on that screen would probably leave you needing glasses before long.
