I am trying to burn a subbed anime using nero vision express and the ends of the subtitles are cut off. This is a nuisance readiong it. This happens during the burning and not the conversion because if I save the converted .vob files to my computer the subtitles fit in ok. I am burning using nero burning rom. Any clue how I can fix this?
Hmm...there is a program called CopyDVD's...where you can copy a DVD of yours onto your computer and then burn it onto a free disc. You need this program you can download off the internet to take off protection from it though (I don't remember what it's called).
For copying DVDs, I use DVD Shrink. It works very well and copies every portion of the DVD accurately. Back on subject, possibly change the settings with wide screen and full screen. Maybe the DVD is expecting a wider TV.
Yeah, you have to decode it with the macrovision key. DvD decrypter that comes with the gordian know rippack is the best.
I didn't want to make a new topic so i'll use this one. If i want to burn an mpeg file onto a dvd disc to play on a dvd player, is there anything special i have to do in order for this to work or can i just burn the mpeg directly onto the disc and have it play?
You need to convert it with a program unless you hvae a spcial DVD player. I use Nero Vision Express, and DVD Santa will also work. Both tghese cost money though if you obtain them...legitimately.
I honestly can't remember but I know most standard DvD players pay either mpg or mpeg. I can't remember which.
They are MPEG-2 encoded. They use .VOB, .BUP, and .IFO files. To my knowledge they wouldn't read a MPEG file. Never tried it though.
I have a cheap walmart player and it plays mpeg. [/b][/quote] Sorry then. I always tough you needed the other files, like they were the format the DVD player must use/ Do you just add the MPEG to the VIDEO_TS folder and burn?
What happens on mine is I just burn the file onto the disk with Nero or whatever, and my dvd player brings up a browser. None of that video_ts or anything, that's for .vob files. You can make menus in Nero too, I made one for Rock Am Ring 04
