It's IMDB. They have the cast for Kung Pow 2, which is coming out in 2006.

Now how the ef' does that happen?

Also they have the cast for Boondocks 2.

EDIT: Oh, and the flanneled one's changes to the original trilogy for the DVD are ATROCIOUS.

Why the hell does Anakin come back young? He dies when he's old, and at the light side, so why would he revert to his old self?

They also replaced the coolest voice in the world. Boba Fett. With Jango Fett.

i guess i will have to be the reasoning force here
    i will adress several issues

    1. vaders voice: check here http://www.starwars.com/episode-iii/castcrew.html
james earl jones is not listed and on many star wars fan sites this was a topic of discussion for a long time. Vader's voice is hayden christenson with voice modulation so it sounds similar to jej but not the same. The thinking behind that is everyone wondering how his voice changes all of a sudden and why it stayed the same for 19 years. And GL did not want hayden to do everything. He had to beg them just to play vader onscreen.

    2. the music: just to let some people know that in the track anakin vs. obiwan duel of the fates is not played but it played only during the palpatine vs. yoda fight. The music heard in the track is battle of the heroes, imperial march, and the force theme. and i didn't not think that the music was atrocious but it was just darker then all the other and it is probably my favorite of all though i am still partial to the a new hope soundtrack.

    3. leia's recollection: it was basically confirmed by a source within lucasfilm that leia recalls her adopted mom. I can't fully confirm that but go to the force.net, enter the forums and u can try to figure that out.

    4. the acting: lets face it, the movie has dozens of good actors (if u don't believe in natalie portman then watch closer) but they just didn't have good material, but this was definitely the best out of the prequels( palpatine and obi-wan definitely steal the show) and none of the star wars movies have had terrific acting (hence no awards for ne of the actors)

    5. Why i must be right: who the hell know's but i am probably the reining star wars expert here so to bad

I also think it's Christensen, since he was also fitted into the suit and replaced in the DVD set, so it makes sense that Lucas would want him to do the voice himself.

But, let's not fight about this, eh? The answer will reveal itself sooner or later...

I guess that all makes sense

Its just for me, I am such a huge fan ( geek even ) of the originals that I always associated darth vader with james earl jones.

I was extremely dissapointed with lucas when he modified the old ones, but hey, its his moive and his artwork.

Like I said the movie isnt terrible, it just could have been better.

ANYWAY LETS TALK ABOUT YODAS VOICE.

    just kidding :innocent:

Uh, if you didn't read my original post, search for the HBO special where they interview James Earl Jones about what it was like doing the voice. There's even a cut-scene of JeJ recording the line "Yes, my master." (or "yes, master") with the headset on in the little booth. It's 100% absolutely him, one, if it weren't, why would a buncha sources make up that it was? It's more likely some sources OVERLOOKED him seeing as how he was uncredited. Two, that very special shows Hayden shaking hands with James Earl Jones. It's him, I'm SURE.

dealing with the most recent reply, if he did do the voice then he would have been listed in the credits. And just because he recorded that does not mean his voices was used. The recorded dozens of peoples voices for General Grevious too, as well as c-3po back for the original.

and i agree with mostly mushroom cloud, i hate the new boba voice and i like the original conversation between palpatine and vader. (i actually didn't mind the new anakin at the end of jedi)

and my being a star wars expert is something for me to brag about cause it is my only claim to fame besides the fact that i can finish a rubik's cube in 2 min

People arent always credited for things in movies, especially if they only do 3 or 4 lines.

I saw it. I'm not a fan of Star Wars and can't get into it. I actually fell asleep whilst watching the movie, no offence to any Star Wars fans.

To be fair i was extremely tired.

    Saw it last night.

    Oh my lord.

    But one thing sucked:

As soon as I got into line with my dad, the show we were going to get tickets for sold out. So we had to wait an hour for the digital one. So worth it.

I have 3 scenes that will be branded into my brain for eternity.

    1) When Anakin is bringing the Clone Army into the Jedi Temple, and it shows him in all his darkness walking up the stairs...I got shivers. Literally.

    2) When Anakin walks into the Jedi Council's room and confronts the Younglings.

    3) When Vader finally has the suit on and the Emperor tells him that he [Vader] killed Padme. That damn "NO!", but just seeing his grief...good lord.

Otherwise, it was a good movie. I thought that Grievous was a pointless character. He needed to stop smoking death-sticks.

Padme's death was cheap. I mean, really. That was cheap. "She lost the will to live" CUT THE SHIT. This girl friggin stops the Trade Federation with the help of the Jedi, helps kick the crap out of Dooku's droid army with the help of the Clone Army and the Jedi, and you're going to kill her off by dying in child-birth? Cheap.

The only CG characters that looked friggin real were Yoda and the Clone army but only when its an upclose view. Far away, you can tell its computerized.

The two droids in the beginning were great, but I thought that R2D2 was more of a comic relief than those droids OR C3PO.

I wanted to see Anakin kick some ass with the Sith red lightsaber...but I guess it has more power when he's killing Younglings with a Jedi lightsaber.

Mace had a cheap death too. He was so close to killing Palpatine. Blah.

The movie made me cry because of the good parts, and I thought my teeth were going to rot from the romantic shpiel with Anakin and Padme, but it was nice. Just really weird watching that type of movie with my dad.

Just sucks that this has to be the last Star Wars.

    I give it a 9/10

    Take this into consideration:

If you didn't notice about Padme's death, there was a total reason behind it. Palpatine (A.K.A Sidious) was slowly killing her. Part of his plan.

Maybe Lucas didn't feel the need to credit him when there were only like 2 lines and every one knows who does the voice for him so really, what's the point? JEJ wasn't a main character, DV was and Hayden played him. I saw the movie twice and there is NO way you can get Hayden to sound like JEJ. The only thing they could do is pitch bend his voice and that wouldn't make him sound like JEJ, just like shit. (And yes, it sounded exactly like him the first and the second time).

I'm going to close this thread if I see another post on who did the damn voice. Maybe they both did it together simultaneously?

    Move on folks. :hugz:
