Hey, I guess you're unbanned, dude! - - - - - - On the topic...that is really creepy. I believe they were innocent. I don't understand. They have no physical evidence. Why would they convict them? Just because of some books? That's arresting them for no reason. They're all going to be in jail, and know that they didn't do it. And know that they will die without a chance. That is cruel and unusual punishment right there. Black hair? Heavy-metal T-shirts? What a pathetic prosecution! How stupid of a lawyer can you be? I have a Metallica shirt..I should be convicted of murder! Ha ha ha! God...they have a right to question them...but arrest them without true evidence and them put them jail, and then have one of them be executed...and the others pretty much die behind bars? They had no reason. No reason whatsoever.
No proof that they did it. The only "evidence" [if you can even call it that] they could go on is their personality and looks.

[/b][/quote] And if we were all judged in that manner, I would be convicted of five charges of Pimp. Anyways, I think it's stupid how the judicial system can judge on that. There was this case in Georgia where a black kid with a 3.6 GPA got 8 years for having consentual sex with a white girl, only because the girl was 2 months away from being of legal age. Stupid.
I always thought that this was one of those sensationalist things which would actually turn out plausible if you read an unbiased account. But if that isn't the case then this is fucked alright.
Firstly, because they questioned them without consent, that would make the case useless. At least you'd think so. Fucking legal system.
Yeah and they got a confession from a person who was most likely coerced into believing that he in fact was guilty. The police fucked the case up so badly, and now 3 people are paying the price for it. I'm buying a 'Free The West Memphis Three' bracelet. EDIT: Oops, sorry for writing the word that got bleeped out.
Jesus. That's so fucking stupid. I can't believe a t-shirt, some hair, and a book could make someone think a person killed somebody.
My point exactly. EDIT: And as for Linkin_EvangelionNG, there are a bunch of people on death row. It's going to take some time before they reach the boy and execute him, if he hasn't already been executed.
Buy the, "Rise Above: 24 Black Flag Songs to Benefit the West Memphis Three" CD that Henry Rollins put together. It has some good covers of Black Flag songs by popular artists in punk/metal/alt. music, and it goes to a good cause.
Did anyone actually enter and read the material from the site? Most of the people posting seem to only have read the part I quoted. The actual case is even more complicated and really fucked up.
