I seem to keep on pumping out songs about this situation now . This is basically, like, what happened on Saturday apart from it's kind of a 'what could of happened if I would have gone further' song. The chorus is like, completely irrelevant to the rest of the song but I've wanted to use the line 'Thank you, Elisa' for a while... I'm not sure why though. It's more of a talking in tune song than a singing song though, so remember that whilst you're reading through it. I'm really proud of this piece and think it challenges for my bet piece. I want it to be perfect so don't hesitate to critise and tell me how to make it better. Thanks alot and enjoy "Thank You, Elisa" You can't look into my eyes after that mortal combat, And tell me you don't like me as a matter of fact, Since two months ago when you didn't, but I wanted you, Now you've changed your view, now you want me to want you too. I feel that Saturday night at the cinema, you wanted me to hold you, Stupidly I didn't take the little stirring chance to kiss you, When I finally held onto your warm misplaced hand, The film ended and fucked up my well laid out plans. But thanks to, Elisa, She came to save the day, (From the same old same) And thank you, Elisa, But you're not what I want, So drop your front, I've got a view for someone other than you. Kim, that gorgeous scent you have is stuck right up my nose, Right next to my brain and shit that is stuck to my bones, Oh your lovey dovey smile that's betrayed by your kiss, Which stains the margins of my mouth so red from the lipstick on your lips, I'll never forget the night I chatted you up during that film, I held your hand and made jokes of the shitty ghosts within, And by the end of the night I swear you'd fallen for me too, Now I know that I like horror films when I watch them with you... But thanks to, Elisa, She came to save the day, (From the same old same) And thank you, Elisa, But you're not what I want, So drop your front, I've got a view for someone other than you. Now I'm not going to let this one go, No, I'm not going to let this one go, So buckle down your defenses, And fuck off all your defenses, You're not going to need them now, (Not going to need them now) And we don't need foundations, It's better now than then, We don't need foundations, We'll replace them at the end... But thanks to, Elisa, She understands me... (Understands me...) And thank you, Elisa, 'Cause you helped me choose, And see that I want someone other than you... Other than you... Other than you.
mmm... not sure how i feel about this but i do think its good. just very different. i actually this bit alot! i think i need to read it a few more times but it's a good piece of work!
Pretty good. Some things just didn't seem to fit though... "With all that snot and fucking shit that is stuck onto my bones," It's a good line but it seems out of place. This one surprised me. "So buckle down your defenses, And fuck off all your defenses," Very different. But as I said, pretty damned good.
