I really want Mike to make a song dedicated to the shit talking bunch who judge him based on what he has done with Linkin Park. Other then that, the beat, flow, and lyrics need to be top notch.
So would this project now fall under solo work or collaborations? And you can't say both I consider solo work completely alone with no guest artists (kind of like with Chester:Morning After and System) so I'll have to say collaborations, but I think this is more along the lines of what he did with the X-Ecutioners, only other LP members probably won't be involved.
I expect alot of the songs to be like Nobody's Listening which is fine with me because I think its a great tune.
Ok Nobody's Listing was Ok the Lyrcis were cool, probably I was just being a little to harsh anywayz I am sure this album will be reat I mean Mike has High standards
I doubt that's going to happen. Although I do think he'll call out rappers (not by name), saying they're just in it for the money and don't respect the game. We all know Mike has great skills as an emcee and I don't think he'll prove us wrong here.
I agree with you both so much especially if it is about drugs and ho's i wont be buying it or if i do i will be really pissed! MIKE dont dissapoint us and rap about real things and keep the lyrics good!
but the lyrics sucked
If a bunch of the songs on this album even resemble Nobodys Listening...this album will suck. The beats okay, gets old after a while, and the lyrics are awful. Apparently Brad did work on this album some what.
You do know that System was done with cooperation with Jonathan Davis, right? Since it was his song originally.
Yeah I knew that. Davis couldn't appear on the album for contract reasons but he did the track during the movie, but I still would consider it solo because although Davis wrote the song Chester performed on it alone in the album version but anyways...that's off the topic a bit here, I just mentioned that because LP has not really had too many truley "solo" projects and this will be more of a collaboration in my opinion.
I expect mike to launch S.o.B with his single , then on the firste single of styles of beyond mike will be rhyming along site of them or produced it so it get attention
i expect an album like HTEP only with rock in it reduced to about a quarter. and also i think that milke won't hold back. like he didn't in AND ONE rap-solo...
i dont expect sob to return the favor. We dont even know if mike made vocals for Triple Bitchin', sob's upcoming album.
all i know is that mike better make a good cd but i'm feelin good about it cause everythign he's done so far i have loved

I guess so probaly he is producing a few song , raps on one , and oversees the whole project , but what I said just a guess I heard 5 songs at Warner last week. It's real good. The track with Black Thought is mad dope. The production is solid. Every track has a theme and he's consistent with it. I expect good things from the album. posted it on okay player boards even got higher expect from it , most of the guys there have a good idea what good hip hop is
Yeah, a big 'fuck you' to all the Linkin Park critics would be sweet.
That is what i was thinking too
i would love to see eminem rappin with mike shinoda. i mean...2 white guyz rappin together.....think about it. 50 cent would be kool too but after listening to Massacre....i kinda lost that attraction towards his music.
