In bad news, 'Collision Course' fell out of the top 100 on the Top 200 albums charts, while 'Meteora' fell two spots to #14 on the Pop Catalog charts. In a reversal of fortune, 'Collision Course' climbed a spot on the Top Music Video tallies to #3. Chester Bennington's collaboration with DJ Z-Trip, entitled "Walking Dead" jumped into the top twenty of the Modern Rock charts with a peak at #20.
awesome. Walking Dead is gaining popularity! Good thing Collision Course climbed the charts this time.
Collision Course is at #103 with sales of 9,053 ....drumroll: and a grand total of: 1,635,048 sold! For some reason WB and Jay-Z group of labels have been holding off on signing the certification..The albums total sales are elligable for a double platinum certification, but I figure it has to do with all the different labels involved in the mash-up album. They were planning on releasing a second single, but I suppose their holding off because Numb/Encore is fairing VERY well and is about to go recurrent on CHR/POP. lw TW Artist Title TW lw Move Aud. /mill 34 36 JAY-Z & LINKIN PARK Numb/Encore 1430 1536 -106 14.835 It's showing great longevity, and suprising sucess for a mash-up. Walking Dead is stumbling around in the 50's on Active Rock but was a smash hit on Alternative. It has already reached #18 and there is a large hold which could bring it up near the 10's. It will be interesting to see how well his album does when it's released this tuesday. I'm expecting a debut in the 30's, which would be great for him!
