I've been on both garageband.com and purevolume.com and I have to say I like purevolume better for listening to underground bands; the player is better (in my opinion) and they have more bands on the site; either way it's great that you can find bands you like and buy EPs before some of them get bigger plus it's funny to hear really young bands that just start out. Any other sites I should know of or bands on these sites you'd recommend?
There's a few bands on PureVolume I really like. The ones that I can remember are Death Is Certain & Auditory Aphasia.
i use purevolume.com. they seem to have a very good selection of new bands, so its easy to find starting bands for each genre. of course there are the bands that started there but made it big, example : norma jean, underoath, haste the day, etc.
i like purevolume. there are some good bands on there. I Hate Kate is on there. i really like them, and i think Ashton is on there too. i havnt been to the other sites.
