Justin Jeffre, member of the now-defunct boy band 98 Degrees, is running for Mayor of Cincinnati. "I am serious about this and I intend to win," says Jeffre of the campaign. One of his main platforms is to bring the people of Cincinnati together at the arts and performing venues and, in turn, build a strong downtown sector. "We need to sell this city back top the people of this city," remarks Jeffre. "We've forgotten how great this city can be." If Jeffre makes the filing deadline of June 30, he will face off with the other candidates in the primary on September 13 and then the final elections on November 8. Jeffre wants VH1 to follow his campaign for a reality series, but network executives state that no decision has been made as of yet on his proposal.
That right there would keep me from voting on him. He's only doing this because his boy band sucks at life, and he needs to be in the limelight again. How sad.
Yeah I heard about this on TRL but I thought the reality series was going to be on MTV thats what John Norris said

[/b][/quote] True, but I also think he's just trying to draw attention to his campaign. What better way to get people to vote for your cause?
