My December is not on the record, because it was written at the end of 2000, just before the KROQ AAC. It was a littlle bit too late.
Exactly. But you can tell where High Voltage was supposed to be on the tracklisting. Listen to the end of Cure For The Itch and the beginning of High Voltage. Sound familiar?
I think they should had added it after A Cure For The Itch, it would had been cool, plus the album would had been a little bit longer. In my opinion it would had fit well.
Yeah it's an awesome song, but they were right in removing it...they want people to be able to relate to each song really on the cd in their own way, and what Mike raps about on High Voltage you can't really change into your own view....if that makes sense...
that's just not true! how many times have i been cursed from !diots who LABEL lp with just rock... or just metal... you can't put a label on a lifestyle! the point of that song is that it's stupid to label everything, and that sometimes people are scared of new things. LIKE ROCK&RAP!!!well... it's not new but LP has given it whole new dimension. at least that's the way i see it.

But then again, it would have been interesting if Linkin Park did include High Voltage (the remix) on Hybrid Theory. Or if they had included the remix on Reanimation (instead of the one they currently have on it).

The songs in Hybrid Theory are songs you can relate to right? Look at the lyrics to High Voltage. They're specific, not something that is easily relateable to. Did he say anything about how things are labeled? No. And next time you want to talk about labels, use your own words, not words from a song you heard (which coincidentally is the High Voltage Reprise). Tool.
Anyway, hybrid theory's one of the best records ever, and the fact that High Voltage's not in there, just doesnt matter, cuz it's also awesome and hybrid theory sounds good the way it is.
He is talking about the reprised version of High Voltage that is found on multiple singles such as In the End: Live & Rare and played live rarely.
Or not. The post isnt even a month old. [/b][/quote] Oh oops, two days shy. *snaps fingers* So close.
Your right it sounds like the remix one, i t would be so cool if they add that, as for My December, that is better off to say alone as one of those tracks that hard to find.
I think they had High Voltage on there after Cure for the Itch, but they changed it last minute and took out High Voltage. My December wasn't on there because it wasn't made up yet.
