Well, I was bored last night and guess what? Mudvayne's Lost and Found Leaked. I got my hands on it and well, it's pretty fucking good. I'm going to give it another listen but it's definately one of the best albums of this year so far. "IMN", "Fall into Sleep", and "Rain. Sun. Gone." are my favorite tracks.
I've only heard Happy? and Determind and it's made me want to get one. HAs anyone seen the video for Happy it's pretty good. same with Determind.
I can't wait to pick this album up. "L.D.50" was a masterpiece in my opinion, "The End Of All Things To Come" was semi-great, but this just fused both together and it sounds like a good evolution. Chad (is that what he's going by now? lol) has an amazing vocal range and I think it's safe to say it's been proven with "Lost and Found." Awesome, awesome stuff.
I think that yeah, it was better in some senses, but in my opinion, L.D.50 was so raw. It was just like, an album I could just keep listening to like there was no end, not to say that their releases after that were and less of great, in fact, I think Mudvayne are like fine wine which gets better with time. I honestly find Mudvayne to be better on each new album, but I guess since L.D.50 really sucked me into metal, I think it's such a great masterpiece, lol. But yeah, lyrically and stuff, L.D.50 is not really to up to par verses The End of All Things to Come. But since I'm on the subject of TEOATTC... Anyone really know what was up with "12:97:24:99" (track 11 on TEOATTC)? I read random crap on it, but it's just a few seconds of silence which I never found out the meaning behind. Anyone find out what it was all about? I could probably come up with a theory with the numbers, but... anything other than that, I have no clue.
I thought that L.D. 50 was a great album by mudvayne, and IMO their best. but i havent heard much from Lost and Found, so i dont know what to expect from it.
Apparently they posted their whole album in one single stream here: http://www.myspace.com/mudvayne01
