Welcome, once again (actually, it's the first time) to "How To Make A Successful Fan Site," with yours truly! Here's the first tip to making a successful Linkin Park fan site: Have a good idea of what you want your site's layout to look without having it look too much like any other web site that already exists. Here is an example of a site that doesn't do that: Digital Linkin Park (which is also the title of an old LP fan site that I used to run). That layout looks exactly like Linkin Park's official German web site, at LP.de. Another example is Russian Linkin Park Fan, a web site that not only links directly to our content, but looks strikingly familiar to our own web site! Yes, it's a tragedy, I know. Let's all bask in the glory that is plagairism. Until next time, this has been Will with "How To Make A Successful Fan Site"!
when I posted in this thread, it said it was closed. and now is open?? well, i already follow those tips for my website. more useful tips, please.
Wow. I think someone sound go to the Russian site and tell them to change it and stuff... *waits to see next weeks episode*
Basically, this is just to show off some sites that don't do their own work. Next week: sites that take news from other sites! *cough*
<sarcasim>Boy, that will be hard to find!</sarcasim> [/b][/quote] I know! I'll have to look everywhere!
