Yeah, the Canucks should know what I'm talking about. What have you guys won so far? I've won 3 donuts and a cookie. Oh and don't worry Mark. If I get a free coffee, I'll give it to you.
There's a Timmys down the street from the school, but it's just far enough to be a pain in the ass. I forgot about the roll up the rim though, so I might go later. Believe me, if I could drink their coffee every day, I would.
Haha, my friend and I got a picture of a pilot playing Roll Up The Rim To Win while preparing the cockpit of an airplane. Judging by his reaction, he lost
...Am I the only one that has no clue what in the hell these people are babbling about? Someone care to clue me in?
Tim Hortons is a coffee and donut shop (well, they also have amazing bagels, cinnamon rolls, muffins, cakes, and spherical donut balls they call "timbits") opened up by a hockey player named Tim Horton in the 40s or 50s. There are tens of thousands of locations across Canada, almost one in every small town across the country. The restaurant is an absolute staple of Canadian culture. Up here, if you think "coffee", you think "Tim Hortons". It isn't a flashy restuarant with dozens of different flavours of exotic coffees, it's just a simple one-flavour "milk or cream" coffee shop. It's an absolute necessity to try something from Tim Hortons, notably their famous coffee or Boston Cream donuts (or my favorite mélange of hot choloate and double-chocolate donut), if you ever come up here. Now, the "Roll Up The Rim To Win" contest is an ingenious marketing campaign used by Tim Hortons to spike sales. By buying a medium-or-higher sized beverage, you get your beverage in a "Roll Up The Rim" cup. Once you're done your coffee, you roll up the outer rim of the coffee cup until you see a blue bar with the words "Please Try Again" or "You Win _____". The restaurant has trucks, boats, and restaurant foods as prizes, over 25 million of them. So every year once Tim Hortons announces the "Roll Up The Rim" sweepstakes, Canadians flock to the restuarant (more frequently than usual, which is already pretty frequent) to see if they can win anything while consuming their delicious-tasting foods. Somebody should post a picture of the cup. Wow, I sound like a spokesman. Currently, I have a 3-cup winning streak. Bought a hot chocolate, got a free coffee, used that free coffee coupon to get another hot chocolate, won a muffin, used the muffin coupon while buying another hot chocolate, got a free donut. (Hot chocolate -> free coffee -> free muffin -> free donut).

I just realized that we have a Tim Horton's about 10 minutes away, though it's not as popular as it must be Canada. I've never been there, but maybe I'll try it.

Not my cup thou. [/b][/quote] Oh.. I see. Pretty Ingenious. And on a side note, dust your damn monitor.
