    How do you get those invites- I have a gmail account but I always wondered where people got the invites from!

    Bottom right of you account there should be a blue-ish box.

    The invites are supposedly completely random. Some people get them when they sign up, some get them later. Some, not at all :p

    Why are they still doing invites anyways, everyone who wants an account can find an invite within 5 minutes anyways?

    In a month Gmail might not even need invites. It's going public soon I believe. So do whatever makes you happy.

    Even I too have 50 invitation :lol: ;) anyways every1 opening an account is getting that, so nothing great or special in that.
