There are actually many of these now used as "home-bunkers". The current paranoia in the US helps a lot, but still... what the heck? I mean, yeah I'd buy it for the "cool factor" but not to survive a nuclear strike .

 

The best part is that people actually have bidded on it.

 

I want that. I could threaten my language arts teacher.
