Don't give me that bullshit. You based that judgement off what you see on MTV (Nelly, Chingy, etc...) Why don't you listen to the likes of Immortal Technique, Jedi Mind Tricks, Mos Def, etc...? Ander - Aside from all the Dre dick riding, it was still a great album.
Psh. It wasn't just Dre. And read this if you want a laugh. And FYI, there's bad rap music that doesn't get played on MTV too.
50 is garbage. why the hell would 50 even attempt to disrespect nas. 50 isnt a 1/100 of nas' lyrical level.. im watchin his all eyes on me 2 thing on mtv now and hes a fukn fool. he thinks hes the shit cuz he has mainstream success.. my sister owns his album. thats not bad ass. thats trl teenie crap. 50 is a clown. the massacre is garbage and he needs to shut up. he thinks hes the greatest person alive and the best emcee ever. he's obviously not. im done ranting.. for now..
The whole situation is utterly stupid. Although, I must admit... I love watching the rap fans arguing over who has "the most mad skillz, yo, yo"
Listen to these artists before judging Rap: Talib Kweli Mos Def Kanye West Wu-Tang Clan (old school but still) Jurassic 5 The Roots Styles of Beyond Tupac (he just rules man!) Danger Mouse and Jemini People who don't talk about hoes, pimpin', rims, bein ganksta, etc. At least not all the time anyways. Intelligence + Rap = Above list.
All Eyes On Me is just a copy off of Tupac anyways. He thinks he'll be Pac but he'll never add up to Shakur's creativity. I say Eminem dumps 50 and brings on some rapper with some actual thought behind his lines. I know Casey loves 50, but think about it...you compare Pac's more serious shit to 50's and there's just no comparision. I even think 2Pac is overrated some days, but I still respect him for what he's brought to the game.
fuck Game, the piece of shit wouldn't have good songs without Dre's production Lyrics of Game: "Fresh like, uhh, Impala, uhh Chrome hydraulics, 808 drums" "On the grill of ma low rider Guns on both sides Ride above the gold wires I four-five'em Kill a ***** on ma song And really do it That's the true meaning of a ghost rider Ten g'z will take your daughter outta air forces" Ya now thats talent
50 has already claimed full responsibility for how great How We Do is. It was supposed to be a sugar coated track; it's a first major single so it has to appeal to the pop crowds. 50 admits that his music is made to make money, write catchy songs, and 1/2 of his new CD was made for the "Usher demographic". He is the definition of mainstream sell out that is making music for the money and he even tells us that. However, his music is still good to listen to because of how he's mastered his hook writing abilities. As for Game, he put out a good crossover album that can sell and is still true to himself. He shows more respect in one song than 50 has in his entire career. And don't get me started on lyrical ability or street credit. New York loves 50 about as much as they did Tupac in the 90's. Compton loves game. He's an accurate sample of The Game minus 50: June 30th, 11:07 I got that call She 8 centimeters, my lil' man about to fall Scuffing my Air Forces, running through the hospital hall Deja vu, like I been here before I'm feeling reborn, like a Bed-Stuy brethren, my first born Dre, I'm about to have a bad boy, family in the lobby See my ***** Church, "What Up," shit I left the camcorder in the truck Running through the maternity ward, out of breath, sweating I swear to God every minute's starting to feel like a second I seen Hell staring down the barrel of a Smith & Wesson My son's ultrasound the closest I ever been to Heaven Lord forgive me for my sins, I know it's last minute Put the chronic in the air, a little hash in it Spread my wings, If only I could fly Why fight to live homie?, If we only living to die
It's no surprise that G-Unit would eventually shift... From what I've seen, there are very little rap groups who can hold it together. I've heard a few of Game's stuff, some of 50's new stuff, not impressed. Their songs aren't anything new... lol Oh well, two overhyped rappers at eachother's ends, but I'm not too surprised. Note that I've only heard like, two songs from Game, don't remember which and only heard "Candy Shop" and... I don't remember, lol. I haven't had much reason to really listen to their albums. And hey, if you don't like rap, just don't come into rap threads... Or don't come in a thread just to bash the genre. They're made for those who listen and are interested in rap music. Just like how we discuss rock, let's respect those who like other genres, don't provoke. Keep those negative comments to yourself, please.
I already knew it byut game is way more talented probably He won't leave shady aftermaht becuz he got'z Dre's back , 50 will drop on double album on shady aftermath so he can leave becuz his four album contract. It's kinda stupid that 50 is beefing with everybody , en there al better lyrically then him so he doesn't stand a chance come on he's dissing NAS how stupid can you be , And now he's saying he's leaving aftermath + all beefs he's nothing . for all the people hating on rap check this artis out: - Nas - Jedi Mind Tricks - Atmosphere - Jus allah - Mf doom - Jay-z - Kanye West - Jurrassic 5 - The Roots - Common - Jean Grea - Canibus - Rass Kass - Wordsworth
The Game's "200 Bars & Runnin" is one of the best rap tracks I've heard. I quite like "Higher", too. EDIT: Shame on Kevin for leaving out Tech N9ne.
LMFAO 50's all talk. He's acting like his shit doesn't stink and disrespecting everything good that came before him like he's thinking it's gonna get him somewhere. He really needs to learn his place and stop instigating stuff. I guess that's how he gets press though. Probably the only way.

Supposed? That actually happen. Go and listen to anything from "Power Of The Dollar", and then his major label debut. You can tell he was shot in the jaw because his voice gets really rough on his "debut", Get Rich Or Die Tryin'.
Plus the supposed "9 shots to the face" doesn't hurt either
I'm sorry, but you're acting really dumb now. Just like Casey said, listen to anything pre- 'Get Rich or Die Tryin' and you could hear that his voice is clear. Then listen to anything after GRODT and you can tell how diffrent his voice is. He started mumbleing a lot after he got shot. Hell, you could even see the bullet mark on his cheek. Take my word for it, I went to Roc The Mic 2003 and saw 50 up close. I could see the bullet marks all over his body.
