I'm sure by now everyone has heard the Bush administration going on about war with Iran, but what do you think will happen if it actually goes through/what would you like to see happen? I'm in the Air Force anyways in Qatar right now so I'm only about 150m away; but that won't affect my answers: -I predict the UN and International community will not stand for it, the rest of our so called "coalition" will dissipate and possibly consider severing ties with the US -Mass riots/protests once a DRAFT is announced because our military cannot support another long term Iraq style conflict -I will tell my commander I'm gay to get a discharge then join the mass riots/protests; my life is not worth any Bush conflict.
I'm not sure advertising you're going to do that third point is the safest thing to do. Who knows what they're watching. If they pull the same bullshit in Iran without any proof, I think Bush will be assassinated by the end of his term. Without a doubt. Although that wouldn't solve anything because the government will pin it on another country filled with oil. I doubt seeing him get impecheached, though. If that goes through congress like I think it does, Republicans have the majority, (I think that's correct) and will knock it down.
If Clinton faced getting kicked out of office for getting his knob polished, then I think Bush should be kicked out for all the crap he's done. He's Hitler, and half the country supports the dumb son of a bitch.
True they may stop it too but I read an interesting theory right after he stole the last election (I refused to call him elected): The Republicans in the house/senate do in fact have another election in 2006, so if enough of the American population wants him out and are truly outraged that we're going to war again with no proof, it will convince the Republicans to turn on him for being so radical and fear that the whole Republican party will pay for his mistakes for years to come, it sounds like a viable theory, just have to wonder if that line he'll cross will in fact be Iran, I know many Republicans aren't happy about Iraq right now.
Amen; well too half the country didn't really care about his destructive Iraq policy (over 100,000 Iraqi lives gone) or even our failing economy, the typical Bush voter voted for him because they feared gay marriage, abortion, and stem cell research. God FORBID that we have those evil institutions in our country but an illegal attack on another nation is completely fine. Start buying your "Don't blame me, I voted for Kerry" bumper stickers now.
Eh, if you gave me the money to move, I'd be there tomorrow. Then I can join all you Canucks and bitch aboot the cancelling of the hockey season
Going to Canada would be what the Republicans would want; I love my country, not my president. Dissent against our leadership should not be associated with not being patriotic, the right have done an effective job into making people believe that dissent=hatred towards America or support for terrorism. The day we stop questioning our government is the day we lose our democracy and all America stands for.
