Before I start off, what I am about to say is my own opinion, so please don't start throwing insults at me before you hear me out. We all know that Reanimation and Meteora both came in the same case-design. I was thinking, perhaps we could start a petition to get Linkin Park to rerelease Hybrid Theory with the same style case and perhaps any artwork that was left out of the album. Who's with me? And, yes, I know I posted it in Linkin Park Chat... It deals with all three albums, not just one in particular.
If you guys are going to say "no," at least come up with one reason why not. I personally think it'd be cool sometime along the line.
I would say "yes" if they'd do like, a continuation of what the current album are was with the soldier and such. But if it was just going to be like, nothing really important. Like, the complete opposite of what Meteora's case was (inside), then I wouldn't like it. To me, Linkin Park's music is as good as their art and if they kinda' screw up one, people might think they'll screw up on the other one as well . Just my opinion, but I think it'd be cool if they did that... IF the art was like a continuation .
Ok, I dont think it would be a good idea to re-release the album again, it would just open Linkin Park up for the Sell-Out comments and only being in it for the money. What I think would be cool, is to maybe give a Hybrid Theory booklet with the next DVD. Or something in that manner.
I agree. The 'sellout' deal would piss a lot of fans off. Maybe they should do that... like, have a short DVD explaining all of Linkin Park's art from the beginning to now/current! That'd be awesome .
I didn't mean a complete rerelease. Hybrid Theory is still being manufactured, but future CD's can be manufactured and they can use the soft-style case instead of the jewel case, and add any art that dealt with the album that they couldn't include because of the restrictions of space; maybe some background info on the tracks, and some bonus tracks that we've NEVER heard before (and I want to stress NEVER *cough*LPU 2.0 CD*cough*). So...yeah.

Yes, A special Hybrid Theory edition cd should be released. I think all of LP's fans would love it, but of course the critics would think otherwise. Perhaps they give us a more in-depth look at making Hybrid Theory. Maybe they can even include Demos of their songs on the album. Interviews, great artwork, concept designs. I would love to see a rereleased of Hybrid Theory.
my reanimation case looks like ive kept it for 50 yrs.... but actually a rerelease doesnt sound too bad.
A rerelease would be good. I need a new Hybrid Theory and I'm too lazy to go to the mall to get one. My Hybrid Theory case like... broke.
No definetly not. they just came out with Meteora and they already remixed the whole Hybrid Theory CD IMO it's just better to let it go and to have it as one of the best albums ever...not to dwell it out forever.
i like digipak cases because the plastic jewel cases get cracked fast and the replacement ones i can find are always colored or not clear.
