http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/a...ap/grammys_list Theres the link of the winners to those who did not watch it and those who are curious for the awards they missed.
I was so happy to see two of my favorite artists winning as underdogs: Maroon 5 - Best New Artist John Mayer - Song of The Year What's the difference between song of the year and record of the year? And really, what's the diff b/w record of the year and album of the year?
The difference between record of the year and album of the year is that record is just for one song and an album is well an album. But I'm not sure what the difference is between record of the year and song of the year. But yah I think Kanye should ahve won more. Oh well I guess his ego doesn't need it. Plus, to me the grammy awards are a joke, its usually the nobody who wins or U2. I mean I guarantee you that LP will never win another grammy.
I never hated U2. But it's true. The old U2 is much better then what they're doing now. It's like...they're inspiration is gone. They're doing their best, but maybe it's better if they quit, now they're still famous and all.
Yeeeeeeah! Green Day won Best Rock Album. I was hoping they would win that. I am also happy that Maroon 5 won Best New Artist. They definitely deserved it.
I was glad to see Green Day win Rock Album of the Year, but it was disappointing that they were up for, what, 7, and they only got one. I missed the Franz Ferdinand performance.
Ha, probably the best performances IMHO was the medley at the beginning, Green Day's performance, and the Alicia Keys-Jamie Foxx bit. Am I alone in thinking Foxx has a future in the music industry?
Just as i thought, none of my fave bands. I'm interested in who won but the actual awards i will not be watching. The Grammy's annoy me. It's all too clean cut and full of stuff i don't like. Oh well, congrats to all the people who won awards there
I will admit, the new album was pretty disappointing. Especially compated to All That You Cant Leave Behind. I think their main problem is that theyre running out of ideas. Theyve been around for a really, really long time, theyve been great for a really, really long time. I think theyre finally losing it a little. But I think I would still go to one of their live shows, and just hope that they play something from The Joshua Tree. Im not sure if they should quit, though, because maybe they will come up with something really good for their next album, if they have one. And please forgive my lack of apostrophes, my keyboard is broken. (aka I spilled water on it and not all the keys work now) EDIT: Also, Im really glad that Green Day won a grammy. And Velvet Revolver.
Green Day have won loads of awards since they brought out American Idiot ,suddenly everyone loves them! I've been a fan of Green Day for years but even I'm sick of seeing them!
im a fan since 2 years i hate it when people come to me and say woah green day s ameriocan idiot is so damn great! omg that sux
