the releases? If I could have changed anything "From the inside" wouldnt have been released and "Dont stay" would have been instead. I have played it on my college radio and it's heaps popular. Commercial success isnt important and I like "From the inside" but "Dont stay" would have done really well.
From The Inside was never released as a single though,it was just a Video to promote Meteora.I would of liked Nobody's Listening to be released as a single because i think it might have done really well in the charts with its Hip-Hop type feel. Here in the UK Linkin Park only made it to 10 with Somewhere I Belong and surprisingly the single that was meant to be the most successful was the least,Breaking The Habit barely got into the top 40,the highest it got in the charts was 39!
id say dont stay even tho i enjoi figure.09, i think its too similar to lying from you. i wouldnt necessarily replace a single but i love dont stay. it owns live and its just a killer opening track on the album with the same energy as one step closer.
I would have liked seeing Nobody's Listening as a single. Because the hip-hop -style is basically the major part of the song, and it might have made hiphop-people interested. + it's a brilliant song!
I reckon Hit The Floor woulda made a great single... i love that song, but then again i love all ther songs hehe
its because everyone had already bought the album - and there was no point in spending 3 quid on a cd for a live track. (even though i did ) i would of liked to see Nobodys Listening - what would of shook the music bussiness up!
breaking the habit was a type of song that got into the crowd - despite the fact that it sounded different to the previous singles, it wasn't as popular as i thought it'd be. hence, a song like nobody's listening, which fits into today'sabundant-with-rap music scene is probably not going to do well. Nonetheless, there is still a chance imo, don't stay would have done well as a single, replacing from the inside, and/or breaking the habit.
