Unfortunately that feature isn't in IPB 1.1.2, and I don't think the LPA would be upgrading to 2.0 anytime soon as you have to be a customer to dload 2.0. You know...we could start a donation fund towards a 2.0 license. :chemist:
I don't know if it's the money...Alex does get discounts for IPB products, or some ish, he used to work there. I've yet to receive my FREE IPB LICENSE. BETCH. WHAT. WHAT WHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAT. Man, my throat hurts.
Yeah, Alex does work there, I'm surprised he runs a board with a old version of the company he works for's software. I bought a license for my board while there was a sale.
http://forums.invisionpower.com/index.php?showuser=105 Guess not...Wonder what happened? Oh and has Alex mysteriously dissappeared from here? I don't see many of his posts anymore...
Invision sold out big time. One of their employees said "You don't pay for mysql, why should you pay for a bulletin board"
i kinda felt the same as well.of the mods we only have 3 active(Will has left and Alex isn't active anymore)
Alex doesnt work for Invision anymore, he hasnt in awhile. Plus, they didn't give their employees a damn thing.
You guys shouldn't assume like that. Alex hasn't worked at Invision for almost over a year, and we're also no longer hosted by Invision anymore because of some of the people there (September '04 downtime). We're just using an older version before we find something affordable and good.
Doenst matter what it is, we are not using a remotley hosted board and trusting these forums to some random server run by some guy we don't even know.
Hey, if I ever decide to retire my CrazyMonkey project [which has a Lifetime IPB license], I'll gladly give it to you. Just think of it as a gift for running such great forums. But ofcouse I don't think I'll drop it for another year or 2.
'Fast reply' as in the little text box that can be placed at the bottom of the screen, which saves everyone about 1 single click of the mouse button?
