Well I really don't see what the real problem with chester reforming Grey Daze would be,sure it takes time out of LP but look at Mike-he's constantly doing other stuff with other bands so why not chester just do some stuff with his old band?

Well, because no one really likes Grey Daze that much. I like some songs, but I don't think it would work. I mean, if they don't sing the HTEP songs anymore, why would Chester go back to Grey Daze?

What does that have to do with anything?

Anyway, I don't think Chester should reform Grey Daze, even for one album. Maybe for one show, like a benefit show, but not an album. They were a mediocre band with terrible lyrics. I can't stand any of their music at all. I'm glad they broke up, actually. If they didn't, there'd be no Linkin Park.

Well, i don't like Grey Daze so i'd have to say no. Stick with LP. As somoene else said, why go back when you can go forward.

I meant with that comment that the band has left the past behind them. If they don't do the HTEP songs in live concerts or anywhere is because they have moved forward. If they have already left the HTEP days in the attic, then Grey Daze must be dead and buried for sure in their memories.

My thoughts exactly. It'd be like reforming Xero.

I think Chester hasn't said that. But if he were to release that solo album, there may be a good chance of Grey Daze playing the music.

They still play "Step Up" all the time and "And One" occasionally.

As for Chester's solo album, only Sean Dowdell said he would help on it by playing drums.

I think everything would screw up if he went back to Grey Daze. I really don't like Grey Daze, no offense. Xero was pretty good, however. Maybe Chester could do like 2 or 3 new songs for Grey Daze? Or Mike, Joe, Rob, Brad, and Phoenix do some for Xero? No. Even though I liked Kyle Christner and Scott Wakefield in Xero/HT, I say keep LP the way they are :joe: :)

I think Grey Daze should release their albums and maybe do a few concerts, but the members should maintain their own paths.

I like Linkin Park the way it is, I don't want Mike to go solo, I don't want Chester to reform 'Grey Daze'!

If you like gun'n roses yeah.....but Im not really into that sound.
Grey Daze has good guitar and bass and all....but chester sounded like he was in an 80s hair band. Plus alot of Grey Daze songs are boring.

And why are people assuming that if chester did go solo....that Grey Daze would help him anyways...nowhere ever has anybody credible said that.

Firstly Grey Daze sounds NOTHING like Guns N' Roses,I really cannot beleive you'd even compare them in the same style.
Secondly People think Grey Daze would help chester on a solo album because Mace (the drummer) said that he would love to wrok with Chester again and it would be most likely Shawn would follow Mace.Although I'm not too sure wether Bobby is dead or not.

I have had many people listen to grey daze and many people said that chester sounds like Axel Rose (or however you spell it).
So it's not just me. Grey Daze are good musicians and all, but the music they play sounds like its dragging its feet. Its like "get to the point of the song please...Im getting bored." I've tried to get into it, but the only song I really like was the Down Syndrome "Remix" at the end of No Sun Today.
Music can make you relaxed and mellow....but should NEVER make you bored.
