I know. It's pretty sad that he more than doubled what the government of the United States contributed to the tsunami fund for these vaccines, aye?
That's what I like to see from people with a lot of money. Even if their money is their own, it's great to see them donating to causes like such. Awesome stuff.
Vaccines arent safe anyways. They basically inject the virus into you to get your immune system to fight it. So basically they risk you getting sick as f*cking possible. That's why some states are fighting mandatory vaccines in schools. They just, arent, healthy. Put 750 towards a cure for aids, not vaccines that could possibly make the person using them incredibly sick.
i thought this was going to be about Bill Gates had a virus or something. But yea, its an awful nice thing to do but i guess when you've got that much money you don't know what do do with most of it.
Vaccines are hardly harmful. They're very small doses of a virus that your immune system should easily be able to fight. This builds up an immunity to the disease if it presents itself in a larger form, and gives the person more of a chance to survive it. Giving someone a vaccine is much much more beneficial than just leaving them alone, so saving the lives of milllions of children is an amazing way to spend $750M dollars. Gates has already pledged $3M to tsunami relief, with more to come, he says. This is a great cause, people.
I know the percentage of severe side effects or deaths from vaccines isnt high, but it's still enough to make some parents protest. Honestly, not to be harsh, I would've rather seen Bill's 750 go towards the Tsunami victims. But still, a nice deed. Hopefully he gets something done with his donation .
i hope that he does something usefull for the futre and so on.. id rather him see do something that will last for a very long time... still it is nice for him to do something worth while with all the money he has
thats what i thought too but i still love the headline i would rather see the money used for more important causes though. ones where lives are in jepordy (sp?) already.
