I'm not sure what you're smoking, but they do not have a new guitarist Perhaps you think that they only had one guitarist to begin with and that Tim was added when Mike left, but Tim's been in the band since the beginning. Adema started out with two guitarists, and now they only have one -- one that's been with them since they started. So, I think it's safe to say that the current guitarist will sound exactly the same as... ermm... himself? Also, it's not even known if this is the final mix. This song may not even be mastered, for all we know, so don't jump to conclusions about that. The only addition in the lineup was the new singer, Luke.
Well, I gave the song a listen, and I love it. It's way better than any Adema that I've ever heard before. I'm looking forward to Planets.
I thought Mike Ransom was replaced by someone? Oh well, my bad. Still, the lack of a guitarist should usually leave an impact as well. You can't change members (especially a vocalist) and lose members and expect to stay the same, except for special cases you've brought up before with ACDC and whatnot. The majority of bands who lose a vocalist and replace him sound drastically different. People shouldn't be expecting the same old Adema, that's all I'm saying, and it's unfair to compare them to the older band considering the change in line-up. That's just my view on it. Alot of people could be disappointed and not give the band a decent chance because they're too busy comparing Luke to Marky instead of actually listening to the cd as a departure from regular Adema.
Yah but I dont know why everyone tihnks Marky Chavez was so great anyways. Sure the first self-titled was good but that second album was complete and total shit.
Yah kinda. Anyways back to the Unstable conversation, Unstable ahd some pretty cheesy lyrics. Can I remind you of a song called Stand Up. Sur eit is catchy but him just saying "Abusive" at the beginning sounded so bad.
Man I want the old Adema back with Mark. They should have just changed their name and played at small bars with this sound.
This song has grown on me. I like it much more now. The intro was weird at first but now it sounds better.
This song is beautiful. New Adema or not. Adema was one of my favorite bands, and it looks like they'll stay that way. If they can find a nice balance between hard songs and HARDER songs on their new album, they'll do just fine and serve a nice round on my iTunes playlist.
Yah I really like this new song it sounds good. But I just have a problem when bands loose thier lead singers and they keep the same name. I mean honestly just change your name already, same with Drowning Pool.
