Okay, that's just stupid.

It's entertainment. I don't see athiests/other religions complaining that we see Christian preachings on television (it's one of the most media celebrated religions currently used). We may dislike it, but I don't think we preach hate like this.

And shouldn't kids learn to accept a person for who they are no matter the circumstances? To fear that an individual accepts a homosexual person is wrong? What kind of crap is that?

I'm not bashing Christianity, but this just takes it too far. Kids who watch these shows don't give a crap if they're homosexual or not, it's basis is on enjoyment. The show Spongebob Square Pants does not preach homosexuallity rather than in some ways parody it. The ONLY homosexual-like antic I've seen on that show was when he and Patrick (the starfish) raised a baby clam together, and even from that, how can you say that a child looks at that and says, "They're homosexual!"

A child isn't going to think anything of the antics of these characters if parents and people would teach them there is NOTHING wrong with this, and this is what bothers me... I'm not looking for a religion debate, but from what I've seen, this is such bullcrap and this shows how unnecessary and moronic religious people are being.

You have to go pretty low to bash children cartoon characters, lol. You can tell that Christians don't have enough Marilyn Manson-like individuals right now to attack so they are beating, bashing and milking anything and everything that makes them paranoid for one reason or another. That's so lame.

It is kinda sick how they're using the characters to basically 'force feed' these kids acceptance. It should be up to a person whether or not they support gay marriage.

 

It's not about gay marriage though, it's about tolerance for people's differences. They're not trying to get kids to agree to gay marriage (I strongly doubt it's even mentioned) or even agree with homosexulaity, simply tolerate those who are.

Those christians wants to be heard, they want influence in other people's lives who are different than themselves. that's obvious. so why are we still hearing? cos that's what they want. I wished people stopped paying attention to crap like that. (and i wished the crap stopped, but i think that will never stop) When they had their say and they're not getting replies they'll stop eventually, but when i think about that i think they'll just start complaining about something else. But anyways, if you just ignore people with opinions like that who wants the attention, you'll just live next to them and you won't get annoyed or irritated by them. ofcourse, you hear things they say, but most of it is bullshit so it comes and goes in your ears without really hearing it.

maybe childish or ignorant to ignore them but it makes it easier to live in. why break your head over rediculous opinions, right?

It's funny how you rarely, if ever, see any other religious group bitch about things like this, other than Christians and Catholics. The only other religious I can think of that started something like this was some Jewish groups because they were against Passion of the Christ, but I mean seriously...why do these extremists have to speak out about every little thing? It's getting REALLY annoying.
