I was listening to some DMX songs yesterday and I thought that wouldn't it be awesome if LP and DMX did a song together. DMX has the roughest voice I've ever heard it scares me when I hear his songs :p If they did a really dark song together with DMX doing a verse, Mike rapping dark lyrics, Chester screaming and Brad doing really heavy riffs (like Slayer riffs) the song would be amazing.

who else thinks this would be awesome? Snoop, Jay-Z and Xzibit combined doesn't compare to DMX's power.

EDIT: Holy shit, they need to release A.06 with DMX in it that'd be the shit those riffs are really hard.

DMX has done songs with marilyn manson and limp bizkit. It could work but i think dmx is too heavy for linkin park lol.

yeah he probably is... although if the song was similar to by myself in its large amounts of screaming and the lyrics were very dark then it could work.

maybe 50 cent would be a better choice?

I'm sorry. But I seriously cannot see that working. You might want to pick a rapper with decent lyrics and a good vocal range instead.

The day LP does something with his-cd-isnt-worth-50 Cent is the day I sell all of my LP CDs to a used CD store, stop listening to them alltogether and declare on the forums that I've lost all respect for the band.

Yeah, thats the only thing that I can see being a problem with DMX working with LP, the diffrence in lyrical content. Though, I can see DMX working with LP more then 50 cent or Enimem for some reason.

I think with DMX, it would be pretty awesome if done correctly, which it would be because LP is a band that likes perfection. With DMX, I would think having his vocals in the background would work. Not a whole part.

...didn't DMX retire from rap? I seem to recall 'Grand Champ' being his last album, or so he says.

EDIT: First one to bring up the new DMX Mixtape gets 12 shotgun shells to the chest.

DMX is too busy getting arrested all the time to make a new album. He's always in court.
