Something like that kinda happened here. We had this awesome station that played all the new metal and alternative called X - FM. My mom told me that they werew shutting down a year before they did ( she found out somehow), and one day they just told the Djs that they were all fired, and switched the station to country the next week.

For anyone who spends more than 3 minutes a week driving, satellite radio is worth the money. I have it and love it. Plenty of stations to choose from, no commercials and they don't flip formats on listeners unexpectedly.

We've been thinking about that, but we're not 100% sure yet on things!

It's not like Rock Radio is spectacular these days.

Anyways, I agree with Todd. I think Sirius or whatever has a metal station, so I'd just get that. Or do what I'm going to do, and get a 6 CD Disc Changer or something.

Look on the bright-side, when Frances The Mute comes out, maybe you'll get to hear some of it, since most of it is in Spanish.

    Haha, or not.

Yeah, it's called "Hard Attack" or "Metal Attack" or something...band members wear a shirt that has that on it sometimes!

There was a rock station near either Albany, NY, or Springfield, MA (I forget which one) that turned to light rock and oldies. I was pretty pissed.

The 5 stations I listen to:

Hard Attack (The really heavy stuff)
Octane (Modern rock, mostly mainstream stuff mentioned on this forum)
Faction (Rock and rap. I change the station on rap)
Alt Nation (Alternative, duh, but they play a lot of the same stuff as the above 2)
Raw Dog (Comedy, when nothing is on the music channels I listen to, theres always some funny shit on this)

Thats Sirius anyways, I dunno what XM has. And I'm sure when he comes to Sirius in 2006, I'll be listening to plenty of Howard Stern
