My Favorite Metalcore band is Caliban. They kick so much @ss. All the info you need below.....

    Information

Caliban are five German musicians who despite their young age are already seen as veterans of the European metal-core scene. Within just a few years they have become one of the most important and influential bands of that genre.

Beloved, Haste The Day, and Killswitch are my favorite hardcore bands right now. Those albums have the pimpest breakdowns ever...ever.

Summer's End, Zao, and Heaven Shall Burn are by far the best metalcore bands I've ever heard. There's some exceptions (Lamb of God, Unearth, Between the Buried and Me, The Chariot, Norma Jean, Ion Dissonance, etc.), but most metalcore are a dying breed through my eyes.

Will, your list is pretty sweet, and Casey, that sampler seems amazing. If you like FBTMOF, check out Should Have Stayed In the Shallows or On the Brightside, She Could Choke. I'm gonna check out Caliban now.

What songs/bands do you guys think have the best breakdowns? I love Norma Jean's, Unearth's, and FBTMOF's.

Demon hunter is a really good band. i have both their cds and they kick ass, but i like the self titled one better. Also a few other really good bands are, east west, Training For utopia, and skillet.
