We have a coder's arena, and Kick Back Cafe, but I think a techie area would be nice. It could be used for all the computer problems, solutions, tips and tricks, etc.

Pretty much sonmewhere where the 'nerds' can talk without having to explain it to people who just post 'What does SCSI mean?'

Why don't we just turn the Coders Arena into a Technical Support forum? Would you like that? It's not like anyone's going to miss that place, and they'll still be able to post about coding and whatnot like they did before (although unfrequently).

Yeah, turn Coders Arena into 'Technical Discussion' for example. If you say support, then it'll 'limit' the forum to support [people will think its a support only forum]

But what about those people like me who love the latest and greatest gizmos and all that jazz? Would such stuff be carried out in Kick Back Cafe?

What you could do, is put music, movies and tech stuff into different sub-forums within Kick Back Cafe. It's organized and gives the members what they need, eh?

I was also thinking about turning the coders area into a techie talk. I'd definately post a lot there. So would a lot of people! :)
