I don't give a fuck about The Warped Tour ( ), but Smartpunk.com is the greatest fucking online store ever. Period. That's all. EDIT: This tour is nothing if Juliette & The Licks aren't on this tour in some fashion.
Well, I'm really looking forward to going to my first concert this year, and I'm trying to decide whether I want to go to OzzFest or Warped Tour... I like the cheap prices and the idea of Warped Tour, just I don't know many of the bands, and I'm not into a ton of punk. But, I would be content with seeing Yellowcard, A7X, and Story of the Year. As for OzzFest, Metal is my true love, just I'm not really into the whole goth spike collar kinda stuff (no offense). I'm also not too sure about the moshing and stuff. But, I love basically every single band that is on the tour. And ADF is on this year... Plus, I'm not sure if my dad would let me go to OzzFest. Could someone possibly give me some pros and cons of each one? Maybe?
I don't know about The Warped Tour, but as for Ozzfest, not all of the concert is moshpits and whatnot. You can just stand there and enjoy the music, it's your choice if you want to get into the moshpit. I don't know the line-up for the 2005 Ozzfest yet, but if there's bands that you love/like playing, I wouldn't let a moshpit or some fucking fad you don't like stop you from a great show with great metal music. I'd go if I could. Especially if Dimmu Borgir is going to be there again. Just go man, don't let some petty bullshit stop you from a good time.
My Chemical Romance The Transplants interest me too...I thought their self-titled kicked ass musically, but damn Rob Aston is a terrible singer/rapper/screamer/lyricist....
like Casey said, you dont have to get into the mosh pits. and you dont have to wear all the jewlery either. but if you were still planning on goin (which i would) just make sure your ready if you get sucked into a pit. cuz believe it or not if you do get sucked in you CAN get out it just takes work. but if your not that close you dont have to worry plus you can always tell where a pit will open up so you can just avoid it if you see one opening.
It's only January The majority of the bands haven't even been announced yet, and I'm sure the supposedly-confirmed lineup will change.
I talked to my friend about this today. If I can get a ticket he'll take me since he's going. Hell yeah. My first Warped.
I'm going to make a list of bands to see and a list of bands to avoid. The Offspring just made my list of bands to avoid.
Alright - Thanks. I'm definitely considering it now. <!--QuoteBegin--Tempest Trend-goth?[/quote] Huh? Me? What?
