I wuz just wondering.... does it cost money 2 join the lp street team? where can i go 2 join?? im already in the LPU but cant find newhere 2 go 2 join the street team.
<- Street Team member Basically you get referred by a member, they give you the link to sign up. Right now the Street Team is closed to new applicants so don't you DARE even ask me. Anyway, once you get in, you give them your address like with the LPU, and whenever something LP-related is going on that they want you to promote, they send you packages full of stickers, flyers, posters, sampler CDs, etc. that you hand out to people to help spread the word about LP's current stuff. You're also asked to promote online through messageboards, chatrooms, etc. Last time signups were opened were about a year ago, before the Meteora World Tour started, and they were closed a couple months later. Basically about once a year they go through and delete all the inactive members of the street team, and if the number left is small enough, they open up signups again. Sometime before LP's new album comes out, they'll probably do this again. Even though you get lots of free stuff through the street team, you're asked to talk about how you've been promoting by posting what you've been up to on the messageboard once in a while. If you don't, they assume you aren't dsoing anything and obviously they aren't gonna keep sending you all the free stuff if you're just hogging it all to yourself. So members only refer people they think would make good street teamers. Or at least that's what's supposed to happen, lol. Hope I've given you enough information.
