Flogging Molly

Flogging Molly are a seven-piece band that blends punk with traditional irish music (think Pogues). Anyone who's interested should check out: Rebels of the Sacred Heart, Drunken Lullabies or Light of a Fading Star (the latter can be heard on the official site, here.)

They're pretty good. My friend was listening to Drunken Lullabies once, and he let me listen, and I've liked them ever since.

 

Their new album and the one before it are both really good.

I heard a couple of their songs on the Warped Tour Compilation cds and even checked out more of their music but I just can't get into them.

 

Meh, they're alright. Some of their songs are awesome, some aren't so good.

Hah, yeah, I've been lurking for the most part. Is it just me or has there been a major slow down on the board? Nothing really I felt like replying to.

 

Great for drinking music. Oh, the things you learn at a hick university.

 

I've only heard Drunken Lullabies, which I think is on the line between decent and awful.

 

Its not just you...I feel it too. Must be the holdiays.

 

I got into Flogging Molly after The Warped Tour. There preety good. Awseome music to playa drinking game.
