Advents falling I dream of a Christmas Where the white snow seems gold Feeling warm, dancing in a season so cold I dream of a Christmas Where the decorations hang high in pride From the skies, snow hits the rooftops From your eyes, down pour tear drops Under the tree, that’s where the presents lie My gift to you; hoping that your heartache stops Breaking hearts at this time seems so cold Got to keep smiling at this time of year, even if the novelty grows old Since we never get to see times like these Lets make them the best we ever had Put up the lights with a smile Embrace what you have, stop living on what you once had From the skies, snow hits the rooftops From your eyes, down pour tear drops Under the tree, that’s where the presents lie My gift to you; hoping that your heartache stops Imagine advents falling Pass the time ‘till one white morning Pass the time ‘till presents open Pass the time ‘till the family smiles’ I dream of a Christmas Where the white snow seems gold Feeling warm, dancing in a season so cold I dream of a Christmas Where the decorations hang high in pride
I like it, has "glass is half full" optimistic feel, basic story line what have you is over done, but, weaving that with a creative Christmas twist makes this poem/song a good read.
